Two Tales Ranch has been in Williston since 1985, founded by Theodore Sverteck and Patricia Zerbini. Patricia, known of the world's leading elephant trainer and from nine generations of animal handlers, now runs the Ranch which has been home to over 100 elephants since its inception.

The research that has been done at Two Tales Ranch has resulted in much needed knowledge about medical issues concerning elephants and in reproductive success. Some of the breakthrough studies done here have been shared world wide in the hopes of helping all elephants.

Two Tales Ranch welcomes visits and really likes school and other groups which are open to learning.

All About Elephants is an education exhibit that offers clinics, lectures, several different styles of demonstrations, rides, photo ops and a fossil and museum collection, along with a shop for all ages of elephant lovers. Inside our beautiful tent the elephants will amaze and allow everyone's imaginations to open to a whole new way of looking at these great creatures. Following each demonstration question and answer sessions are held to further out goat of instilling awareness.

Also on the ranch are numerous other animals sometimes varying in what is there at any given time. You can find camels, zebras, horses, donkeys, an ostrich, a python, and even some big cats. School groups especially like the custom t-shirts, painted by an elephant (yes, really).
